KIDZONE is a program run for children aged 3 up to year 8 where we seek to “Connect kids with God, kids with the bible, kids with kids, and kids with everyday life”. We do this by providing a loving, safe, fun and engaging environment.

After a short time together, the children aged from 3–8years break off to a separate class called ‘Noah’s Ark’ while the remainder of the children stay in the main youth hall. We aim to motivate both children and parents to come each week, using games, memory verses, singing, object lessons and skits; basically doing what we can to present God’s message to the children in varied and exciting ways.

We have a competition that runs for the year to encourage the children to remember what they learn. The children advance along the competition bringing their Bibles and notebooks, learning the memory verses and bringing their friends, receiving prizes along the way.

KidZone isn’t just a program that happens at 10am in another room separate from the main church service. We consider it to be a vital part of the church, where we pray the children will all have fun; and most importantly learn more about our awesome God.

 

base intermediate

BASE Intermediate events are for Year 6–8. They run on a monthly basis during term time from 6–8pm. We do a range of fun events that cater for everyone in that age group. Our mission is as follows: BASE Youth is a place (base) for intermediate youth to hangout, to have a ‘safe’ placeto be themselves, bring their friends, make connections and build friendships…BASE Youth will be a place where God’s love for the youth will be central to how we operate and the environment we create.

EPIC Youth Hangout

EPIC Youth Hangout/EPIC Youth Saturday events are for Year 9 up. The Youth Hangout is a lowkey evening every Friday night during term time from7.30pm to 9.30pm @ CCC.

Youth can join in the games in the Youth Hall or hang out in the Youth Lounge playing cards, foosball or just chat with friends. During summer we will often go to the local park for the evening.

The Saturday events are once a month and a great opportunity for youth and their friends to enjoy a variety of crazy events such as carrallies, sports evenings and fear factor. Youth are notified of upcoming events (email and social media).

All EPIC events include a short Bible devotion and supper.

IGNITE is for our college teenagers, Year 9 to Year 13. This is held every Sunday morning during the 10.00am service. We leave the main service and move out to a youth–focused study group. It’s a great time of learning and fun, with plenty of opportunity for the young people to interact with their leaders.
